Disgraceful - and frightening

Anyone who's been following the breast cancer scandal in Ireland will be aware that dozens of women suffered a frightening ordeal when 568 ultrasound scans had to be reviewed -- and the results revised.

Now we have this story of a young woman with a bleeding breast discharge who cannot get an urgent appointment for examination, despite her scary symptoms. Read it -- and then, please, email Mary Harney (and preferably Joe Duffy too if you get angry enough!).

Here are the addresses -- do it now while it's on your mind.

I read it, Deborah, and I'm appalled. Stunned. I'll be keeping my eye on the updates -- and my fingers and toes crossed.

Unbelievable!
