Father of Malala to become "education attache"
I was pretty sure when I posted about Malala (below) that we hadn't heard the last of her or her father in the US/UK grand scheme of things. This morning I read this at the Guardian:
"Malala Yousafzai's father appointed to diplomatic job at UK consulate"
"Father of campaigner shot by Taliban to become education attache while his daughter recovers in a Birmingham hospital"
In the first place, that seems to be strange wording, since apparently he and his family will be able to stay in the UK for five years - and it already seems as if Malala is well recovered, or at least well on the road to recovery. I hope she is.
[Update: Malala released from hospital -- apparently posted by the Irish Times while I was posting this]
Secondly, I learned this: "Doctors discovered that the bullet came within inches of killing her, lodging in her neck instead of penetrating her skull."
I had wondered about that. I had seen numerous clips on TV of Malala in hospital and she seemed to have a full head of lovely black hair -- no sign at all of any of it being shaved off for medical reasons. So now that is explained. No bullet penetrated her skull although we were told constantly that she was "shot in the head and neck" -- which under normal circumstances would be expected to kill anyone, or at the very least cause brain damage, which she doesn't appear to have either. (What I have noticed is that in all recent clips and pics, she looks increasingly unhappy, and is always, but always, shown in the company of her father. I read somewere - here I believe - that her mother is kept inside the house. Funny, that.)
Meanwhile, mealy mouthed William Hague is quoted again as having said, "we are also determined to do all we can to champion education for women and girls in Pakistan" -- something that had never occurred to them until after they invaded Afghanistan AND after it becamse obvious that their geopolitical aims there were not going to be achieved. Education for women in Afghanistan (or Pakistan) was the last thing on their weasly minds when they invaded the area in October 2001.
Are they planning to push that excuse again (education of women) to justify the murder and mutilation of Afghan people, and deaths of 'US-led' soldiers, since 2001? Surely not. It's far too ridiculous. Obama has been gaily killing and dismembering civilians with his drone attacks in Afghanistan and Pakistan since January 2009. Or is it that, having given permission for these US drone attacks, and having suffered severe criticism from their own population, the Pakistani Government is desperately trying to make up some lost ground by making a song and dance about Malala and her family and her father "the educator" (and owner of a number of for-profit schools)? With the connivance of the US/UK and their lapdog media?
"The Bureau of Investigative Journalism found that between 391 – 780 civilians were killed out of a total of between 1,658 and 2,597 [deaths from drone strikes] and that 160 children are reported among the deaths. The Bureau also revealed that since President Obama took office at least 50 civilians were killed in follow-up strikes when they had gone to help victims and more than 20 civilians have also been attacked in deliberate strikes on funerals and mourners, tactics that have been condemned by legal experts" Source
'We are killing their women and children in order to educate them'
Quoting from here again:
"There is one other dimension worthy of attention and that is what the former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has done. He has launched a United Nations petition using the slogan “I am Malala” demanding that all children in the world should be in school by 2015. He plans to present the petition to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari later this month. Brown’s activities on behalf of Malala and indeed other children would sound more noble were it not for the fact he heads the “global campaign for charter, for-profit school systems.” There is tons of money to be made in this enterprise."
Make of it what you will.

Dr Love,
I don't know who you are, or why you call yourself "doctor". But either you didn't read a word I wrote, or, you're a gullible person who has chosen to accept what the MSM hand you on a plate. Malala is a pawn. But it's easier to accept the mainstream version of her story, isn't it? Easier and lazier ...
